As a former teacher turned therapist, I've spent my career helping people grow into the fullest version of themselves, first in the classroom, now in the therapy room. I work with parents, women navigating big transitions, couples, and anyone who's been the strong one for too long. If you're ready to stop feeling stuck and start feeling like yourself again, you're in the right place.
My Specialties
Anxiety | Grief & Loss | Life Transitions | Parenting Stress | Pregnancy, Prenatal & Postpartum | Couples & Relationship Issues | Women's Issues | Family Conflict
Why This Work Matters To Me
Teaching showed me something I couldn't unsee: the people who struggled most were rarely lacking intelligence or effort. They were carrying things no one had ever helped them put down. I watched students light up the moment someone truly listened to them, and I realized that was the work I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Becoming a mom deepened that conviction. I know firsthand how much it takes to hold everything together while quietly wondering if you're okay. That intersection of educator, mother, and therapist shapes everything about how I show up for the people I work with.
What I Treat
You don't need the "right" words to start. If you've spent years being the strong one, these categories are simply doors to a larger conversation. Our work isn't about the boxes you check; it's about you.
-
The constant worry, the mental load that never sets down, the feeling of being "on" for everyone around you. We work on quieting the noise so you can hear yourself again, and build practical tools for the moments anxiety shows up loudest.
-
Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and it isn't only about death. It shows up after miscarriage, divorce, estrangement, and the loss of who you thought you'd be. This is a space to carry it out loud, at your pace, without anyone rushing you toward "moving on."
-
New roles, new cities, new chapters. Even the changes you chose can leave you feeling unmoored. We work on steadying yourself in the in-between and figuring out who you're becoming on the other side. We've written more about why even good change feels so destabilizing.
-
Loving your kids and feeling depleted by parenting can both be true at once. We work on the guilt, the overwhelm, and the version of you that existed before everyone needed something, so you can show up as the parent you want to be without disappearing in the process.
-
Growing your family changes everything, including you. Whether you're navigating pregnancy anxiety, adjusting after birth, or grieving how different this chapter feels from what you expected, this is a space to be honest about all of it, without judgment and without having to perform "glowing."
-
For couples, the goal is feeling like a team again instead of two people stuck in the same argument. For individuals, we look at the patterns that follow you from relationship to relationship and what it takes to change your part in them.
-
The invisible load. The expectation to hold everyone else together. The identity questions that surface in every season, from career to caregiving. We work on what it means to take up space in your own life again.
-
Recurring arguments, strained dynamics, and the exhausting role of family peacekeeper. With a background in trained mediation, I help you understand the patterns underneath the conflict and change your part in them, whether or not anyone else in the family changes theirs.
Why Work With Me
Sometimes it only takes one shift to break a cycle. I help you find it.
I work best with people who are doing their best on the outside but running on empty on the inside. That includes individuals stepping into new chapters, whether that means entering the workforce, becoming a parent, navigating a relationship, or processing a loss, and couples who want to feel like a team again instead of two people stuck in the same argument.
How I Think About Change
I believe most people don't need to be fixed. They need someone to help them see what's already keeping them stuck, because once you see it clearly, one shift is usually enough to start moving again.
As we grow and evolve, our thoughts, feelings, and emotions change with us, and I believe in facing those changes head on.
What It’s Like To Work With Me
Because my work is fully virtual, sessions tend to feel more relaxed than people expect.
Whether you're joining from your couch, your car, or a quiet corner of your home, I work hard to make it feel like we're right there in the room together. I use humor when it fits, ask questions that get underneath the surface, and have a way of drawing things out of people gently, even when the words are hard to find. I'll always meet you where you are, and I'll never push you faster than you're ready to go.
My style is:
Empowering
Warm
Solution Oriented
A bit about me:
Outside of therapy, I am a wife and mom to two active boys who make life loud, busy, and really fun. Family and close friendships are at the center of everything for me. You will usually find me outside, whether that is going for a run, walking the neighborhood, or spending a full day at the beach enjoying the outside air. Exercise has been a consistent anchor in my own life, not just for staying in shape but for clearing my head and keeping my own anxiety in check. I also have a genuine love for travel, interior design, and fashion, because creativity and a little beauty go a long way.
Getting Started Together
If you're tired of going in circles, let's talk. You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out. That's what the call is for.
I have current openings and respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
